Cambridgeshire County Council Case Study

Cambridgeshire County Council have joined the list of asset owners who have selected the LSBUD solution to register key underground networks located throughout the country. As part of its actions to ensure a Net Zero Cambridgeshire by 2045, the Climate Change and Energy Services team is delivering several large-scale renewable energy projects. Two of these projects are currently being delivered and are included on the LSBUD System.

The Cambridgeshire team are already seeing the benefits as the number of searches within the vicinity of these assets continues to grow. LSBUD is pleased to be working with Cambridgeshire County Council to help protect these key assets and aid the Council towards their Net Zero targets.

“Our customers now have access to information about our network 24 hours a day, all year around. The portal helps customers with simple enquiries to self-serve, while our experienced team focus on more complex and challenging enquiries like high pressure pipelines.”

“With LSBUD’s support, we have been able to give more customers better information. 7.5m people rely on our network every day, and improving the information provided not only improves the customer experience, it also keeps our network safer”
