Westminster City Council has seen the visibility of its district heating network move from ‘walk by’ notifications to total coverage thanks to LSBUD.
Pimlico District Heating Undertaking (PDHU), owned and managed by Westminster City Council, was established over 50 years ago to help combat London’s air pollution.
The PDHU continues to be a crucial source of clean, affordable energy in the city.
Becoming a LSBUD Member immediately raised the awareness of PDHU, and as the number of LSBUD Members have increased, the awareness has widened, which is critical, and one of the benefits of joining a central system.
After an initial period, Westminster City Council renewed its LSBUD membership, signing up for another five years in 2022.
