LSBUD Welcomes Liverpool City Region Connect (LCR Connect)
LSBUD (Linesearch BeforeUdig) are delighted to welcome Liverpool City Region Connect (LCR Connect) as our latest Member joining over 160 other assets owners who put their trust in the LSBUD solution.
LCR Connect is the brand name of a Joint Venture company owned in partnership by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (50%), ITS Technology Group (25%), and French investor NGE Concessions (25%).
The company owns a 212km full-fibre, ultrafast, gigabit-capable network serving predominantly business customers across the Liverpool City Region. The network is operated on behalf of LCR Connect by North West based ITS Technology who also own and operate full fIbre networks across the UK.
Membership of LSBUD will help LCR Connect to keep the network protected and hence ensure continuity of service to its customers across the Liverpool City Region.

“LCR Connect is designed to make the region the most digitally connected in the UK and for every business, council service, school, university and hospital have access to ultra-fast digital connectivity. A critical part of this is making sure that our connections are reliable. To achieve this, it is paramount that information on where our cables are laid is readily available to any other companies that are planning to dig in the Region’s highways. This will help to prevent accidental damage to our network and that will help to ensure that our customers remain connected.”
