LSBUD Welcomes National Grid Ventures
LSBUD are delighted to welcome National Grid Ventures (NGV) as our latest Member.
NGV runs separately from National Grid plc’s core regulated operations. They have built a broad portfolio of businesses that work together to keep the lights on, decarbonise the economy and power a clean, fair and affordable energy future for consumers.
LSBUD will be protecting NGV’s Interconnectors. Interconnectors are high voltage cables that are used to connect the electricity systems of neighbouring countries. They allow NGV to trade excess power, such as renewable energy created by the sun, wind and water, between different countries.
LSBUD is very pleased to be working with NGV to raise awareness of these critically important assets and protect them from accidental damage.
