HPR will enable NYnet to respond more quickly to all those who plan to dig in the vicinity of their assets. NYnet has also taken the proactive step of removing all charges for its plans (charges were previously levied by a third party), meaning that all those who need to work safely around their assets can check their asset locations free of charge before they go to site. This is good news for the protection of NYnet’s assets and good news for LSBUD Users.

NYnet Limited was established by North Yorkshire County Council in 2007, with the aim to improve connectivity and broadband services across the North of England for both the Public and Private Sectors.

In order to achieve this NYnet built and now operates a high capacity fibre network across the region, to provide Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Managed Internet Access.
