LSBUD is very pleased to confirm that SSE Peterhead’s assets will be protected through the LSBUD service from 08 June 2017. 

SSE’s 16.5km 36 inch Major Accident Hazard Gas Pipeline is used to transport gas from the National Grid facility at St Fergus through to a pressure reduction station at Peterhead Power Station where after it supplies 3 x CCGT’s for the purpose of generating electricity.
